So, I haven't posted in almost a week. It's been a long week though. I've been super busy, and my high stress level has been maintained throughout.
So, to begin with, everything went fine with my Mom. She is back at home now and doing as well as can be expected. I was able to speak to her doctor who was very friendly and helpful.
On Thursday, I was supposed to go to Alibi to hang out with this guy, Charlie. He had called me several times, and I told him I was going. Walt came over and we watched part of 'Domino', which seemed like a pretty good movie. He left to go home and get ready. He was going to meet me out at Alibi. I laid down to relax for about an hour or so. I ended up falling asleep until after 2.
I woke up around 2 and called Walt and Charlie. I felt pretty bad, cuz I really did want to go. So, on Friday morning, I woke up around 8:30 and tried to call in, but my phone didn't get a signal, so I jumped online and emailed work.
I got a lot done on Friday. I rearranged my room, planted a bunch of seeds that I had bought a couple weeks ago in a little greenhouse that I had also bought at the same time. I took down the bed frame that was too large for my bed. I put that damn thing in the attic. Good riddance.
I took a shower and then went to pick up Shane from work. We drove over to Tampa behind this lady in a mini van who drove off to one side of the road, and then over into the left lane all the way down Gandy. It was seriously kind of terrifying. I thought she was going to cause an accident or fly off the bridge or something...
Shane and I went to the mall and he tried to get his hair cut, but they didn't have anything available. So we went to Fossil where I bought some fun sunglasses and he bought a new wallet. Jiganesh text messaged me to see if I wanted to go to Chambers. Chad had already asked me earlier in the week to go out iwith him. I assumed that meant Chambers, so I said yes.
I called Chad and he was like, no, we're not going to Chambers. We're going to a party in St. Pete. He wouldn't give me any details, but said 300 people were supposed to be there. Well, I told Jay and Shane to go to Chambers without me, and waited for Chad to get off work at 12. After 12, I realized Chad had totally ditched me. He wouldn't answer my calls, and pissed me off to no end when I was sitting in my room, all dressed up to go out, with nothing to do on a Friday night.
Charlie had called me to see if I was on my way to Chambers, I had told him earlier that I was planning on going. I told him that my plans had changed and now I was going to a party and he got really pissed and hung up on me. Sorry...
So, the night was totally turning to crap. Joe really wanted to hang out, but I waited until after I was sure I was free to say yes. So, he came up rather late. I was trying to find my keys when he got to my house. It wasn't really that big of a deal though, because one of the walls in the kitchen is completely gone, so there's not really an issue with trying to get into my house.
So, Joe nad I went to this random diner on 19, which was filled with the after bar crowd, as it was about 2:30. I didn't eat much, I wasn't really hungry at all. Then we went back to my house and were sitting outside when Shane and Jiganesh pulled up. Shane was sober, but Jay made up for that. So, we all sat outside for a bit. Jay wanted a martini, so I made some and had one with him. After that, Joe and I watched Dorian Blues, which was a pretty cute movie.
We didn't go to sleep until about 6:30, and slept way into the afternoon... We got up, hung out for a little bit, and then Joe went home. We planned on getting together again on Wednesday.
Shane and I went to eat at Pizza Hut. Then we went to Target and spent copious amounts of money on random shit. Then back to the house where Mike and his friend were having a fire. Mike was drinking, so Shane and I made some lemon drop martini's, which were really strong, and, well, very lemon-y. So, after those, we watched Cursed, with Christina Ricci. Justin called me to see what we were doing. I was so drunk at that point I could barely function the phone. He sounded pretty good as well. lol
On Sunday, Shane and I went to Target so that I could exchange a sheet set I bought that was the wrong size. Came home after that and talked to my mom on the phone for a while. I also talked to Charlie, who kept calling me while I was talking to my Mom. Charlie wanted me to come over and watch a movie, so we planned on doing that.
I took Shane to the gas station so he could refill the propane tank. Then I headed over to Tampa. Charlie had a bunch of movies to watch and I picked Robots. It was fun, but kinda cheesy. Charlie was all about making out, which was fun. Actually, he was all about more than that, but it didn't happen...
I came home, had a beer in front of the fire and went to sleep.
