Literally, I am the entire choir, and you are preaching to me.
So, it's Friday, thank goodness. This week went by really fast, actually. I didn't go anywhere or do much of anything after work on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, I cleaned out my closet, which was really dusty, and kind of made me allergenic. So I was sneezing a lot yesterday. I had to call the pharmacy and get them to refill my Allegra prescription. I can pick that up today, yay. I also wanted to talk to my doctor and have him put me on Zyban, so I can quit smoking.
So, I have continued talking to the guy I mentioned in my last post, he wanted to come over on my lunch break today. Hmmm... Very tempting, yes... But I said no. We'll see what happens with this.
So, I got a new office today. Actually, I traded with someone else. Kind of out of the blue, my boss said that we were gonna switch. So we did, and it worked out pretty easily. I have all the same stuff, except for the furniture. Now I have a table and a small desk, rather than just a large desk for all my stuff. My new office is on the West side of the building, rather than the north, and I also have a nice view of the lake and Tropicana Field. Before I could see the Coliseum, the roof of this building's first floor, and the parking lot. So I'm enjoying the change. It's also in a more active part of the office. More going on, people talking, walking by. I'll have to post some pictures of my view later on.
So yeah, it's been a good day so far. I think I am going to go to Chambers tonight. I may meet this cute guy, Gabriel, he is going out also. So that would be nice. Um, after work, I'm going to pick up Shane, get his paycheck cashed, then I think I'm gonna get a haircut. I want to keep my hair as short as possible, and it has been two weeks since I've got a cut. I was thinking about getting highlights also, but that's a time consuming process, that's why I haven't done it more than once. Usually I'm in a total rush to get things done on Fridays.
So yeah, pick up Shane, haircut, shopping... I need to buy a hoodie at Hollister. I also need to buy some blank T Shirts, cuz I bought some of those print your own T Shirt logo things when I got my printer, and I haven't been able to test them out yet... I was thinking about getting a solid-colored hoodie also and making a logo or something for it.
Then I have to go home, eat, clean, maybe put up my new ceiling fan... Mike bought the fan about 3 weeks ago, and it has made it into my room on the floor. Then on Monday we bought the medallions that go on the ceiling. I just painted those yesterday. So, as you can see, it is quite a process. I'm not worried about doing the electrical work myself, I just want to get that shit up on the damn ceiling. :) OK, well, I will hopefully post again during the weekend.
Oh, and we are supposed to be having a party on Saturday. Or not. I'm not really sure. I didn't really want to put the time or money into getting ready, so we're basically not. It was kind of a Felix thing, actually. He isn't coming home now, he's being sent to Fort Still, and then he thinks to the desert. It really sucks, because he is done with the military on April First (Yes, April Fool's Day, No, not a joke). So, I don't have any idea if there are just going to be random people showing up at my house, because there were a lot of invitations sent out months ago. We don't know what's gonna happen, and the three of us have been half heartedly saying we should still have the party, but at this point I have no clue...
